Dr. Cristina (Ina) Isac was born in Bucharest on April 11, 1977. Her parents, Aurelia and Florin Isac, both plastic surgeons, instilled in her a passion for medicine and, in particular, for the specialty she would later pursue. Dr. Cristina Isac has a sister, Raluca Isac-Renaud, who holds a bachelorās degree in Political Science and International Relations.
From 1995 to 2001, Dr. Ina Isac attended the āCarol Davilaā Faculty of General Medicine in Bucharest. After completing her bachelorās degree, she earned the title of physician, graduating at the top of her class with a GPA of 10.
From 2002 to 2008, Dr. Cristina Isac completed her residency at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, specializing in Plastic Surgery, upon completion of which she became a board-certified specialist. During her residency, she completed theoretical and practical training courses in her specialty in England, Denmark, the U.S., Sweden, Japan, and France, deepening her understanding of various aspects of the specialty and mastering advanced technical procedures used in renowned international clinics.
In November 2006, Dr. Cristina Isac defended her doctoral dissertation titled āEtiopathogenic, Clinical, and Therapeutic Contributions to Median Nerve Compression in the Carpal Tunnel,ā earning the degree of Doctor of Medicine. The thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr. Tiberiu Bratu.
In early 2007, she was selected through a competitive process for the position of teaching assistant at the Clinic of Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery at the āCarol Davilaā University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, where she worked at the āSteauaā Clinical Emergency Hospital for Plastic, Repair, and Burns.
From 2006 to the present, Dr. Ina Isac has been practicing at a private cosmetic surgery clinic.
In 2012, she obtained the title of Senior Physician in plastic surgery and reconstructive microsurgery through a competitive examination.Her professional activities related to her teaching role consist of the theoretical and practical training of future specialists, research activities, and performing surgical procedures on patients:
- Teaching responsibilities include theoretical courses and/or practical demonstrations of representative clinical cases.
- research on various theoretical and practical topics. As a result of this work, I have published and presented a total of 8 scientific papers during this period
- Routine care of hospitalized patients with various conditions: traumas of any location accompanied by soft tissue damage, burns, post-traumatic or post-burn sequelae (deformities resulting from burns), soft tissue tumors, various congenital malformations, and the correction of cosmetic defects.
Since 2014, Dr. Ina Isac has been practicing exclusively in the private sector, performing cosmetic surgery procedures
