Like many others, I had a problem with the appearance of my nose—I wanted a change, meaning rhinoplasty—but since I’m a very fearful person, it was hard for me to make a decision about it.I started searching online for a rhinoplasty clinic with references or something that would give me more confidence. I’m from Moldova, and I decided to come to Bucharest for breast augmentation surgery. Why didn’t I have it done in Chisinau? Because even though prices are higher there than in Romania, the specialists aren’t as professional as I’d like. So, I browsed a few websites and came across a photo of Ms. Isac. Hi! Dear prospective patients. I know you have reservations and are trying to gather as much information as possible to help you make a decision—I’ve been through this difficult process myself. I looked at and analyzed the “before” and “after” photos countless times, wondering what I would look like “after” (because at 50 years old…). Dr. Isac Ina provided me with a lot of details, and then, together with Dr. Isac—my mother (who “scolded me a little” for having aged my skin and deepened my wrinkles—voluntarily—through smoking)—she got to work. I experienced no discomfort whatsoever before, during, or after the procedure (upper and lower blepharoplasty, and a correction of a slight asymmetry in the eyebrows pose no problems whatsoever for the patient), except for the swelling and bruising, which diminish day by day and disappear in about 2–3 weeks. But… IT WAS WORTH IT. My eyelids are lifted, the wrinkles are gone, my complexion is radiant; my face looks younger, and I’M happy. I’m barely managing (?) to fool my colleagues into thinking that during my 3-week vacation I switched my day cream and got some rest, which led to the rejuvenation they’ve noticed; I also “blame” the change in how I apply my makeup (which is somewhat true, since I no longer have to cover up wrinkles with layer upon layer). A few people have advised me: “Ma’am, don’t wear makeup like you did last year—it’ll make you look older.” It’s enough for me to know that, back in January, I made the right decision.
