On December 11, I had my surgery... I didn’t experience any pain, except for a little bruising around my eyes for about a week...I’d like to thank Dr. Cristina Isac and Dr. Aurelia… I’ve never met—and I don’t think I ever will—doctors like them…They deserve so much admiration… and respect… from me and my husband, who also had surgery with them in February—liposuction on his abdomen and hips. I found Dr. Cristina Isac and Dr. Aurelia online while researching cosmetic surgery. I spoke with them, and they patiently answered all my questions. As I get older, losing weight becomes increasingly difficult; the desire to make minor adjustments where needed becomes a necessity. After the procedure, I can say that I’ve regained the joy of looking at myself.A few days later, my child also underwent an otoplasty. "There are angels on Earth"—that's what I thought in those moments when I found someone who was willing to help me! Six months ago, I underwent surgery because of a “botched” tattoo. The diagnosis was a keloid scar, and as I’ve said before, no one was giving me many details about it, until I arrived at this hospital, where these two ladies greeted me with smiles and gave me all the attention and explanations I needed. Then, after the surgery, there were months of treatment consisting of an injection designed to stop the “ugly” scarring. Throughout those months, these “angels” treated me exceptionally well, and I felt like part of a family! That’s why we Romanians need competent people in the healthcare system—people who, above and beyond their profession, are truly HUMAN! In the spring of 2006, I underwent a surgical procedure that I had learned about shortly before and that changed my life both literally and figuratively. I was 50 years old at the time and had been suffering for half a century from excessive underarm sweating. Despite all my efforts, the results were unsatisfactory, and the unsightly stains on my clothes were a constant source of stress (not to mention the discomfort caused by the moisture in my underarm area).After speaking with Dr. Aurelia Isac and Dr. Cristina Isac, I learned that there is a procedure called the “autoshaving procedure,” which involves removing the hair follicles (including the sweat glands) from the underarm area. The surgery was very easy (for me!), as was the recovery, and today I can’t even remember—unless I really try—what my life was like before. That area no longer sweats, and as a “bonus,” I’ve achieved permanent underarm hair removal! Isn’t that great? Without the information I received from those two doctors, I’d still be suffering today! Of course, I’m deeply grateful to them, and I was happy to see, while reading other patients’ reviews, that other people see them just as they are: excellent professionals, dedicated to their craft and to their patients, doctors who are constantly keeping up with the latest developments—but most importantly, I believe, PEOPLE with big hearts. I was referred to Dr. Cristina Isac and Dr. Aurelia. I had a burn covering my entire abdomen that was 20 years old; it looked really bad, and there didn’t seem to be much hope that it would ever look any better. I didn’t think I’d ever get rid of that scar, but the doctors managed to remove it completely—they worked a miracle—and I thank them from the bottom of my heart because now I can say I’m happy to look like a normal person.
