On April 20, 2010, I underwent rhinoplasty. After the surgery, I had absolutely no pain; I was swollen and had bruises for the first 4 days, but a week after the surgery I looked great. I am very pleased with the results of the surgery; it’s exactly what I wanted. I had severe breast asymmetry, which had been a source of insecurity for me since I was a teenager. When I say “severe,” I mean that the difference between my breasts was double. There are quite a few people who—although self-conscious about certain physical traits that can sometimes cause discomfort (as was the case with me)—are afraid to undergo surgery. Indeed, and rightly so, because such a procedure is extremely complex and requires the skill of a competent doctor. Furthermore, cosmetic surgeries, in general, are quite expensive. As for me, I was more than lucky, I might say. For several years, something about my body had been bothering me—not so much psychologically as physically (I felt a sense of discomfort)—so about a year ago I started researching online with the intention of having surgery, but without much success, since the costs of such a procedure—labiaplasty—were quite high. Tired of the pretentiousness of so many incompetent people, tired of so many for whom their profession is a burden, something extraordinary happened to me a month ago. By chance—so to speak—after a long search, I “discovered” Dr. Ina Isac. I found out on her website that she was offering a promotion for certain surgeries, so I sent her an email (mostly out of curiosity) to find out the cost of the procedure. The doctor replied shortly thereafter and, very kindly, gave me a phone number where I could contact her to schedule the surgery. Her background—her education, specializations, and postgraduate training—convinced me of her extensive knowledge in the field of cosmetic surgery, so I decided to go in for a consultation. I found her tone of voice to be remarkably calm, her manner with patients remarkably friendly, and her work ethic remarkably professional—she explains every step she takes, explaining the purpose of every medication she prescribes as part of your treatment and making sure you understand the importance of postoperative hygiene. What’s more, she was so kind that she even sent me informational materials via email. All of this gave me the confidence I needed to take this step, so I scheduled the surgery. The procedure went very well; under general anesthesia, I experienced mild pain on the first day, followed by a feeling of discomfort that disappeared after a few days. I strictly followed the recommended hygiene guidelines and the treatment prescribed by Dr. Isac. Now I feel fantastic; the change seems incredible to me—I didn’t expect everything to turn out so well. I’m very pleased with the result and thank Dr. Ina Isac from the bottom of my heart. She is the kind of person I’ve rarely met—completely dedicated to her work, selfless, optimistic, cheerful, and communicative—who goes beyond the simple role of a doctor and connects with her patients on a deep, personal level (at least that’s how I felt).
